Sadrina Johnson was born and raised in Big Stone Gap, Virginia (and yes that town really does exist). Raised by her grandmother, she started her career in acting and singing as Mary in her childhood church’s interpretation of the Christmas story at the ripe age of 6. Evidently that didn’t go too well considering she never reprised her role, but was instead demoted to an angel with cardboard wings years later. But her confidence was boosted in her junior year of high school in a one act play where she played Bessie Smith. Written by her long time childhood friend J. Ben Bolling , Ain’t That the Blues Mr. Pianoman rekindled her love of acting. Ever since then, she has been addicted. Sadrina continued to feed her addiction at Radford University in Radford, Virginia where she received her degree in theatre and dance. She was co-founder of The Round Table Players, a theatre company designed to further arts in southwestern Virginia, and is a proud member of Actor's Equity.

Sadrina now resides in Brooklyn, New York with her very supportive husband Jason and their adorable little dog Hank.
